Dr. Melnikau is the Chief of the Breast Surgery Division at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. As a breast surgical oncologist, His clinical and research interests are focused on the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, including breast cancer, benign breast diseases, inflammatory breast diseases, breast pain, and the prevention and treatment of lymphedema. The surgical breast clinic’s breast cancer service collaborates closely with other disciplines within WHMC, such as radiology, oncology, and plastic reconstructive surgery, to provide comprehensive care for both benign and malignant breast diseases.
Dr. Melnikau is passionate about providing patient-centered care, delivered by culturally competent clinicians who can effectively communicate with their patients and encourage their active participation in their care process. He and his team are proficient in English, Belarusian, Russian, and Spanish and are also able to provide care in more than 200 languages via certified medical interpreters.
