Ways to Give

There are so many ways to give – please support our efforts by donating in whatever way you can. We depend on the generosity of our friends and partners to continue our healing endeavors.

Wyckoff Heights Baby Center

We continually work to improve services to our patients, who deserve the very best. Wyckoff’s newest capital campaign, the Baby Center, reflects that mission. The goal is to raise funds to construct a new, modern, and technologically advanced Baby Center for both our Labor and Delivery Unit and our Maternity Unit for post-partum care. The upgrades will modernize the existing patient rooms by adding a private bathroom to each as well as overhauling the existing birthing center to enhance the entire maternity experience, including the care, comfort, and support that mothers and their new babies need to thrive.

Please make checks payable to “Wyckoff Heights Baby Center” and mail to:

Give the Gift of Time

Volunteering or interning at Wyckoff can be a rewarding and educational experience.  Whether you are committing your time for community service, school requirements, self-education, or out of the kindness of your heart, all efforts are welcome and appreciated.

The Department of Volunteer Services recruits and trains volunteers from the community for placement within the hospital in temporary and permanent, non-clinical and selected clinical positions, thereby assisting various departments within the hospital to fulfill their role in providing Excellence in Care Through Prevention, Education and Treatment in a Safe Environment.

Volunteers are assigned depending on a combination of their interests, skills, and hospital needs.  Duties vary depending on the department each volunteer is assigned.

Volunteer Events & Benefits

  • Volunteer Recognition Day
  • References provided to volunteers after 100 hours are completed
  • Complimentary meal each day you volunteer
  • On the job training
  • Invitation to the hospital’s special events

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or an intern:

Download and complete either the Junior or Adult application, as appropriate. Both the Adult and Junior applications contain 2 recommendation forms that must be completed. If you are applying to participate in traditional volunteering, at least one recommendation needs to be professional (which includes employment or school); the other can be a personal recommendation. If you are applying for an internship, both recommendations need to be completed by professionals (professors, counselors, advisors, etc.) from the institution that requires the internship.

Your doctor must complete the VOLUNTER Medical Release Form.

When all forms have been completed, contact Larissa Rivera, HR/Volunteer Coordinator, at 718- 963-7110 for an interview appointment.
