The Department of Infectious Diseases is a consultative service for all clinical departments at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. It is a referral point for patients in the community with sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis and various diseases contracted through travel.
The department is also available for consultation for all physicians in the community.

Up-to-date information regarding issues about infectious diseases and infection control is disseminated to community physicians through lectures and seminars at the hospital and through publications.
