Job Description:
- Initial observation and assessment of the patient’s needs for immediate care
- Systematically and accurately assesses needs of the patient to detect pertinent changes in the clinical picture.
- Identifies appropriate problems/complaints.
- Selects, plans and evaluates care based on this assessment
- Assess and intervenes appropriately to meet patient’s educational, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs.
- Assesses and intervenes appropriately to meet patient’s discharge planning needs.
- Performs all other duties as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- 5 years in Cardiology experience highly preferred.
- Proficient in ECG interpretation.
- Experience in exercise/nuclear stress test administration and interpretation preferred.
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
- Experience in Electrophysiology device integration preferred.
- Board Certification.
- Current NY license and BLS/ACLS certification.
