Job Description:

1. Initial observation and assessment of the patient’s needs for immediate care
2. Systematically and accurately assesses needs of the patient to detect pertinent changes in the clinical picture. 
3.  Identifies appropriate problems/complaints.
4. Selects, plans and evaluates care based on this assessment
5. Assess and intervenes appropriately to meet patient’s educational, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs.
6. Assesses and intervenes appropriately to meet patient’s discharge planning needs.
7. Performs all other duties as required.   

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in an accredited Physician Assistant program.
2. 5 years in Cardiology experience highly preferred.
3. Proficient in ECG interpretation.
4. Experience in exercise/nuclear stress test administration and interpretation preferred.
5. Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
6. Experience in Electrophysiology device integration preferred.
7. Board Certification.
8. Current NY license and BLS/ACLS certification.
