Job Overview:
We seek a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while assisting with various medical procedures.

Duties will include:

Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures

Monitoring of patient’s vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history

Reports data relating to patient’s health status to appropriate clinical staff

Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan

Administration of medication, injections and functions in the scope of the license

Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas

Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked.

Maintain records of patient activities and observations

Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient’s condition

Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed

Cross-cover multiple practices

Rooming patients

Overseeing patient flow

Skills Required:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High level of organization

Ability to multi-task – Excellent written and oral communication

Knowledge of the insurance process

High level of professionalism

Flexible and team-oriented – Attention to detail and quality

Ambulatory practice experience – PREFERRED

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing

• Current NY State LPN License and Registration

• BLS Certification
