Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is recognized as a Designated Stroke Center by the New York State Department of Health. Its most recent recognition is the 2022 Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus Award from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.

Obstetrics

Wyckoff Heights holds a prestigious designation as a Baby Friendly USA hospital, which is conferred upon facilities that provide support and education for mothers about the benefits of breastfeeding.
Pediatrics
In 2017, Wyckoff was the first hospital in New York State and 11th in the entire nation to achieve recognition from the Joint Commission as a Center of Excellence in Pediatric Asthma and has continued to provide excellent pediatric asthma care to its youngest patients.

Emergency Medicine
WHMC is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and the Emergency Department is recognized as a 911 receiving facility. As of March 2021, we are a designated STEMI Center (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) recognized by the Fire Department of New York and provide immediate PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) for patients with life threatening heart attacks.
