The Department of Interventional Radiology is a rapidly evolving medical specialty that offers innovative minimally invasive treatment options for patients who were traditionally deemed not surgical candidates. Our board certified Interventional Radiologists here at Wyckoff utilize state of the art equipment to perform procedures in our brand new GE Angiography suite. Using fluoroscopy, as well as other imaging modalities, including US and CT, they navigate small devices such as catheters (tubes) down the arteries and veins of the body in order to treat various disorders across all organ systems. Our Interventional Radiologists are clinical specialists who are also well versed in Diagnostic Radiology. They strongly adhere to best practice principles, including evidence based medicine and following Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) guidelines.
