The Medical Center has developed a comprehensive program to provide effective translation services for patients with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and those who are hearing impaired. 

"Language Line" telephone interpreter services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week and can interpret from English into more than 150 languagesServices can be accessed through a landline phone by the caregiver at bedside, or by using special language line phones with dual handsets which are available upon request at each nursing station. 

An "Interpreter List" consisting of in-house employees is also available in all patient care areas.
